Sunday March 18th Field Trip

Ikebana Festival at the Florida Botanical Gardens. We will meet at 8 a.m. by the wedding gazebo for photo ops before the festival begins. Our group gets in early to do photos before it opens to the public.

Saturday March 31st Field Trip

Ringling Museum in Sarasota We will meet at the gate at 9:45.

Frame Day Saturday March 24th
Saturday the 24th will be the next frame day for the upcoming exhibit at the Don Vista Cultural Art Center. The theme for the next show is "Animals"

March 4th - May 30th

Society members Donna Bollenbach and Kathy Finnerty have a new exhibit opening This Sunday.
See natural Florida from the eye of an artist and a naturalist. Each beautiful image is labeled with interesting facts about the species, habitat and ecology of the subject. See native flora & fauna come to like in photography and art.

A Basic Class on the ins and outs of getting to use your camera Saturday March 31st Digital Computer Basics will cover the basics of getting the digital file out of the camera and into the computer and the basics of what to do with the files after that.

Digital Images for the group should be jpeg files  1024x768 at 100ppi  files names should be initials, month,year, title example (js0207treeballet.jpg). You may also bring prints that are matted image area should be at least 8x10
